Nigel's Page
Well, it's April 2008 and where has the time gone.  Russ and I continue on our tour of the world although we are, it has to be said, specializing in the darkest corners of East Kent.  Recent developments are very exciting.  Russ, Paul Clifford and I seemed to have joined a band.  The Dealers and us are working on some collaborative projects and it sounds great, though a wee bit noisier than we / they / you / are used to. Lee Cornwall who appears to have unlimited / time / energy / enthusiasm, joins us on mandolin.  It really is very exciting indeed.  Other than that I've got some bits with Roland "Is anybody in here single?" Chadwick.  That should be good. Also I have enrolled in the pool of musicians that is the Dave Gwillam Blues Bandits.  Very good indeed.  I've done a couple of gigs with young Ben Mills too.  He just gets better and better. Richard Rozzee and I are playing the first Friday of folk week in the Balmoral.  We're up against Camine in the Rudge. They play a real harp... things could get messy.  Other than the long awaited return of Uncle Nige and the lost eighties project where I and Ebba's Creek (Messrs Lango & Corny) lament the break up of relationships with a string of imaginary girlfriends. Heart wrenching stuff. Hope to see you soon. Nigel.
